If you look up the word “sweetheart” in the dictionary you are sure to find a photo of our Evelyn. This 5 year old Shihtzu has some skin issues to overcome ( we are working on it)but she will win you over with her beautiful spirit. We are so grateful to have her foster Mom on the CSDR team . Evelyn will get the medical attention she needs as well as all the love she could want. We are accepting applications for her now. If you are looking for a little sidekick to share your world with fill out an application today! ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE or will be SPAYED OR NEUTERED. The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $620.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $75.00. Adopter will pay actual cost.) All our our dogs are in privates foster homes. To schedule a meet and greet you MUST submit an application. Link below. Our process at Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue consists of: - vet reference - phone interview - 3 personal references - home ownership verification or landlord reference - home visit - meet and greet If applicable : - meet and greet with current dogs/cats in your home. We feel strongly that it must be a match for everyone involved. Adopting a dog is a major lifetime commitment.
