Evee <br/>24lbs <br/>Estimate Age of 3 <br/>Spayed Female <br/><br/>Just arrived from Texas, still learning more about her <br/><br/>Feral momma dog found with her baby daddy and 2 puppies. When they went back to pick up the next day there was only one puppy. Evee had to be trapped. Spent 1.5 weeks in TX foster home just decompressing very shut down, wouldn't walk on leash. <br/><br/>Our team worked with her during street dog trip and she is now able to walk on leash. Benefits from predictability in her schedule and structure about what's expected of her. Will need another calm dog in the home, latching onto male dogs over females - best friends with Buck during this trip and he's been very calm/dog neutral.<br/><br/>She is quite scared of cats right now so will need a neutral cat in the home and will not do well with one that may bully her or seek attention.<br/><br/>Good in her crate but has had a few moments at night where she wants to roam - I think she is ready for more activity! Should be a medium Active dog once she gains confidence. <br/><br/>She is going to need a family that is ready to be patient and celebrate the small wins of house dog life with her. POSO has already started treatment and covers the cost of the treatment through our partner vet. Heartworm is a non contagious disease that is spread only through a bite of an infected mosquito.
