EVE's Story

My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!! Eve came to the shelter when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Eve is a lovely girl--friendly, energetic. Responds to treats, answers to her name, knows site and wait. Very smart and gentle; loves pets and scratches. She is a a super sweet big ol' girl who loves attention and has great manners at the vet. She has the most expressive, floppy ears. She love going for walks, but will benefit from some leash training. She loves people but is reported NOT to do well with dogs and cats. Eve has done well riding in a car based on her dog day out partner. Come meet her today! INSIGHTS FROM ADVENTURE BUDDIES: Eve is really sweet and good for a day out, you should avoid her with other dogs though she is reactive when near one. She was super sweet to cuddle with and is a big couch potato, really good with people. Went on a nature trail, got a pup cup, watched movies, took her for a ride. She’s super sweet and easy to get to know! I think she is a very sweet and lovely lady. She is just a a very strong puller. We went for a walk in the North Carolina Forest. At the beginning she was very energetic, then she got tired and was calmer. She did great with strangers, with other dogs, and overall we had a blast. Something that we noticed is that she barks very weirdly. Not loud at all, it is almost like a squeak. We were wondering if she was deaf or had something wrong. Anyway, I think that is an amazing strength because that means she could be a very good dog for an apartment. My favorite thing about her is that she doesn’t bark, she is good with animals and people. She is a great company.
