REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION -Identification Card -Verbal or written approval from landlord or HOA If you are adopting a dog over 6 months old, a meet and greet with our Behavior Specialist is required. -Every cat must go home in a carrier. Adopters may bring their own or purchase a cardboard carrier from HSMC for $5. -Every dog must go home with a leash and collar. Adopters may bring their own or purchase them from HSMC.
