Exquisite Evita!<br/><br/>Meet Eva! She's kind, soft, gentle and sweet. When her owner passed late last year, she was left homeless and this spring, she's looking for a new beginning and a happily every after.<br/><br/>Eva came to us from Mexico. She had a loving guardian but when he died, the family turfed her out on the street to fend for herself. Thankfully, she was not alone for long as one of our Mexican rescue partners came to her rescue. And now, darling Evita has settled into life here in T.O and is in search of a forever family.<br/><br/>With her supremely boop-able bull terrier nose and smattering of freckles, E is adorable. And we don't say this often, especially in rescue, but Eva is an EASY dog! She gets along with everyone: other dogs, cats, kids and also loves meeting new people. She's friendly, affectionate and affable. She currently lives with another dog with zero issues. She's quiet and was a rock star for her Canadian vet visit. She's also great in the car, loves her walks and can be left alone and will rest quietly in her crate for several hours, if need be. Her foster parents work out of the home most days and say she's a really easy dog to live with, and it's not their first rodeo.<br/><br/>At about 5 years old and 18 kilos, Eva would be suitable for a first-time owner (something else we rarely say) and with other dogs, cats and kids. Regarding kiddos, we'd prefer homes with dog-savvy kids 10+, it's just easier on everyone.<br/><br/>Our wish list for Evita? A home with a fenced yard and maybe another pup to hang with (or even a cat), a guardian/guardians that work from home at least a couple of days a week, and someone committed to giving her a lifetime of love. She's pretty low maintenance, a walk or 2 a day around the 'hood, love and smooches and she's good.<br/><br/>Eva is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and house and crate trained. She's adoptable in the GTHA. Eva will be adopted with a Tractive pet tracker for her safety and year's subscription to this service for free. <br/><br/>Eva's adoption fee is 600.00.
