Ethel (Foster to Adopt)

Meet Ethel!<br/><br/>Ethel is a young (estimated about 5 years old) female terrier/chi mix who will be soon ready for her forever home. Ethel came into rescue very pregnant with 6 puppies. She is successfully raising them in foster and is enjoying all the help she's receiving from her foster family. She is currently 11 pounds.<br/><br/>Ethel is the definition of a Velcro dog. She wants to be someone's shadow, snuggle buddy, and constant companion. Ethel gets along with all the resident dogs, and is very curious about cats, though is not sure how to make friends with them. Ethel is a very doting momma, and will be ready to be spoiled and doted on. She expects full attention, at all times! Ethel does great with small kids, adults, and while she's a little wary of strangers at first, it just takes one pet and she melts! She is highly food motivated, and seems to be very smart and listens very well. She can be a bit timid, but she's had a lot of change and just needs constant reassurance. Her new favorite spot is on the couch, cuddled with the household. <br/><br/>Ethel is mostly potty trained and definitely pee pad trained. She has yet to go on leash walks at the foster home since she's not straying too far from her babies, but she does enjoy the backyard as long as her human is with her. <br/><br/>Ethel is not yet spayed and will be foster to adopt status until she is spayed. CRT will pay for the spay and the adoption will be finalized once the spay occurs.<br/><br/>Ethels adoption donation is $300. <br/><br/>If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.<br/><br/>Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
