Meet Ethel Beavers!<br/>This girl is 3-4 years old and was an owner surrender. She is a short stack full of energy and fun. She is very playful and loves to have a good time. <br/>Ethel is in a foster home with an older dog who allows her to be somewhat of a "bully". She is true to her "bully" breed in that she wants all the things for herself.. from attention to toys to snacks. She loves to be around dogs but a dog in her home with her must be able to not be upset by her bully antics and/or a well trained companion that can help her continue learning!<br/>Ethel has a high prey drive for small animals, including cats and chickens.<br/>Ethel is great with humans and absolutely LOVES affection... all the time! She would make a great best friend. She has not been around alot of children to know for sure if she would be a good fit for toddler ages or not and we would suggest older children who know and can respect dog boundaries.<br/>Ethel is crate trained and knows basic commands.<br/><br/>She had heartworm when she arrived to the rescue and has since cleared that very preventable and deadly disease so she is now looking for her forever home. Ethel's heart does have a residual heart murmur from that trauma that she will have for life. After a cardiac assessment they stated that she will live a long normal life but will forever likely have somewhat of a murmur upon physical exams.
