Ethel

Ethel’s former owner had to move in with a family member due to health problems, and she had to leave Ethel with a friend. Unfortunately, that led to her living under a trailer with little care. Her veterinarian found out about what happened to Ethel and asked if we could help. Thankfully, a selfless foster agreed to bring Ethel into her home and give her the care she needs while we try to find her a new home. We hope this sweet girl will get adopted soon!<br/><br/>Ethel is a calm girl and loves hanging out with her people. She does well in public places, and she is great on a leash. She gets along with other dogs and doesn’t bother cats at all. She would be a perfect match for someone who wants an easy going cat friendly best friend. Ethel is happy to cuddle with you anytime you’ll let her. <br/><br/>When Ethel came into our care in August, she had a skin infection but that is healed now. We had her hair shaved to help her and it is already growing back. She’ll be a beautiful Collie with love and time. <br/> <br/>Ethel knows how to sit on command and is house trained. She weighs 69 pounds, and is 7 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Ethel can arrive in Brattleboro, VT on 10/10.
