She was found abandoned and alone near the reservation and appeared to have been surviving on her own for quite some time.<br/><br/>Despite everything she has been through, Esther remains incredibly trusting, affectionate, and gentle. There truly is not a mean bone in her body. She loves being around her people and would happily spend her day following you from room to room, supervising all of your activities <br/><br/>Queen Esther gets along wonderfully with our Labrador, our other 2 doxies, and pays no attention to our cats, she has no problem with children . She enjoys companionship and seems happiest when she is part of the family.<br/><br/>She walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring the yard and going for walks. Her energy level is low to moderate—she still enjoys activity but is also perfectly content to relax and cuddle.<br/><br/>Esther is house trained and consistently goes outside when her family is home. She can be vocal when separated from her people and would thrive in a home where her human would be there most of the time.<br/><br/>When Esther arrived, her coat was severely matted, her skin was irritated, and her teeth were in poor condition. she is scheduled for dental work on Tuesday. Biopsy showed skin Cancer which is being evaluated to determine treatment. Testing showed positive for Cushings Disease which is a life long treatment that has been started.
