We know a change like that can be confusing for a senior dog, so right now, Essie is looking for something simple: a quiet home, a predictable routine, and someone who will love her for the rest of her life.<br/><br/>Essie is a total couch potato. She is independent, quiet, potty trained, and very accustomed to having a routine. She knows sit and stay, walks nicely on a leash, and does best when life is calm and predictable.<br/><br/>When meeting new people, Essie can be a little timid at first, but she does okay once she gets comfortable. She would prefer a home without children—no children at all—and ideally with one or two adults. <br/><br/>Essie does require a fenced yard, and a standard 4-foot fence is perfectly fine.<br/><br/>She isn't looking for a busy household or lots of excitement.
