Arriving November 18th <br/>Esmee was found, along with her mother, in the streets by a rescuer near Ponce, Puerto Rico, and then turned into our rescue. They were no doubt abandoned given their age when the people no longer wanted to take care of them. It happens all too often in Puerto Rico. She was successfully treated for heartworm, received a dental, is spayed, & vaccinated. She is 5 yrs old, & 11 lbs.
