This handsome little gentleman recently joined another successful pack walk and did incredibly well. While Ernie would happily tell you he should be leading the pack, he's beginning to learn that being part of the group can be pretty great too. It's been wonderful watching his confidence continue to grow, and ongoing pack walks would be a fantastic way to support his socialization.<br/><br/>While Ernie is proud of his recent accomplishments, people have always been his favourite. He's a true companion dog who thrives on human connection and is happiest when he's included in everyday life, whether that's running errands, relaxing on the couch or heading out for an adventure.<br/><br/>Ernie has also proven to be an excellent travel companion. He's great on car rides and settles in easily when visiting new places, including sleepovers at foster grandma's house.<br/><br/>Although Ernie is making wonderful progress around other dogs in structured settings, he still prefers to have his own space when meeting unfamiliar dogs on leash and would be happiest as the only dog in his forever home.<br/><br/>Ernie takes medication twice a day for a heart condition and does wonderfully with his care routine.
