Ernie's Story

Can you say adorable??? Ernie is a 1 1/2 year old, 7 lb, "chiwienie" (chihuahua/dachshund) who is available for adoption as a bonded pair with his brother & BFF, Bert. These sweet boys were abandoned in a house when their owners moved and luckily were rescued by a good samaritan who then asked us for help. This darling duo are very affectionate and love cuddles and snuggles but do seem slightly more comfortable with women. However, don't those sweet faces disarm you ... they are feisty and mischievous as well. Bert and Ernie are very playful and wrestle all the time! And they are also expert chain link fence climbers - they put their little paws in the links and scale right over so a privacy fence will be needed for these escape artists. They are doing well on their potty training and will just a little more work to complete the learning process. <br/>The adoption fee for Bert & Ernie is $325; they are neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations as well as heartworm preventative. Applications can be completed at waldosmuttleycrew.org . (Indianapolis area)
