Ernie may be tiny, but he is so mighty! Who could resist his little smile?!<br/><br/>Ernie is a gentle soul who was found abandoned outside my job, but is now ready for his fresh start and forever home. Ernie will not ever grow his hair back on his back, sections of his ears and possibly nose due to them being burn scars. Ernie is growing his hair back everywhere else though! I did put special needs due to He will have to wear a shirt in the spring/summer time so his back doesn't get sun burned. He has been neutered, up to date on all shots now, heart worm negative (and on heart worm/flea/tick preventatives) plus he had his dental done on August 19, 2025. To be truthful Ernie had to get a bunch of his teeth pulled from them already being broken or chipped. Yet, he still tries to eat everyone's food!<br/>Ernie is also family friendly! He has been around kids of all ages, adults and geriatrics. He is house and kennel trained. Granted he doesn't like walking on the leash (he loves being carried) he does know how to walk on one very well! <br/><br/><br/> He is a friendly boy 6.6 pounds who gets along with dogs of all sizes (from a great dane to 12 week old puppy!) to even mini pigs (he absolutely loves hanging out with the pigs) and bonus he is cat friendly! Ernie is a people-lover and will be your loyal companion, always up for a car ride or a walk to explore new sights and smells. He is the perfect mix of playful and calm, always ready for a game or a good cuddle on the couch. Ernie just wants to be with you all the time and finally know what a forever home is. <br/><br/>Ernie is also quite the foodie and will always try to make you think he deserves seconds or thirds of his food (until he gets comfortable with you and knows he will never skip a meal again). With his loving nature and gentle spirit, Ernie is sure to bring joy and companionship to his new family.
