Eowyn aka Roo's Story
Eowyn — Pet Profile (Adoption/Foster)
Name: Eowyn
Age: ~1 year old
Breed: Great Dane mix (possibly Great Dane / Chocolate Lab mix)
Personality: Super friendly, sweet, affectionate

About Eowyn
Eowyn is a young, gentle giant with a heart of gold. When she was rescued, she was extremely malnourished and skinny, and understandably very skittish. Despite what she’s been through, she’s shown nothing but sweetness—and she’s ready to trade her rough start for the safe, loved life she’s always deserved.

Based on where she was found, we believe Eowyn was likely dumped. Now she’s waiting for the one thing she’s never had: a real forever home.

The Good Stuff
- Super friendly and loving
- Great with kids
- Good with other dogs (she’s social and wants to play)

What She’s Working On
Eowyn is still learning the basics—she most definitely hasn’t had any leash training before rescue. She also loves to do “zoomies,” so she’ll thrive with someone who can help her channel that puppy energy into good habits.

Because she’s still learning her size, she may do best with:
- larger dog friends, or
- a home that can help her practice calm greetings and polite play

Ideal Home
- Patient, kind humans who understand she’s still learning
- Someone willing to do basic training (leash manners, simple commands)
- A home that can handle a big, happy, goofy young dog who’s figuring life out

Eowyn has already survived the hard part. Now she just needs someone to choose her. If you’ve got room in your heart (and on your couch) for a sweet, playful Great Dane mix, Eowyn would love to meet you.
