Enzo — The Sweetest Little Gentleman Youll Ever Meet's Story
Hi, I’m Enzo, I’m a four months o 17 pounds, bundle of joy, my vet thinks I am a Doberman Pinscher mix. My dad is suspected to be a Labrador retriever. I don’t know much about breeds, but I do know that I’m a pretty sweet little guy. At least that’s what everyone keeps telling me!
Must be because of my sweet and docile disposition. I am a bit shy but extremely loving.

I’m also pretty good at making friends. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, and I don’t have a bossy bone in my body. If another dog wants to be in charge, that’s perfectly fine with me! I’d actually love to have a doggy brother or sister who could show me how things work. Someone to play with, follow around, and learn from would make me very happy.

Oh, and I’ve met cats, too! They’re interesting little creatures. I’m curious about them, but I don’t want to hurt them. I mostly just wonder what they’re doing and why they act so differently from dogs.

Now, I don’t want you to think I’m a little couch potato just because I’m gentle. I’m still a puppy! I’m healthy, bouncy, playful, and always curious about what’s happening around me. I just happen to have a softer personality.

I’ve also been working on my manners, and I think I’m doing pretty well! I’m already crate-trained and house-trained, and right now I’m learning how this whole leash-walking thing works.
I’m a smart boy, and learning new things is actually pretty fun, especially when snacks are involved.
I was rescued in Texas and Im looking for a foster-to-adopt family in the northern states. That means you get 2 to 3 weeks to try real life together the home routine, the walks, the treats, the bones, and all the everyday things that help you know if we are truly a fit.

Theres no pressure in the process. If for some reason Im not the right match, my rescue will quickly find me another home so everyone stays supported and safe. Its a thoughtful way to make sure my forever family is truly the right one.

Transport runs every other weekend, and Ill be making my trip north soon. Pickup locations are Winchester, VA, East Hartford, Connecticut and Brattleboro, Vermont.

The best way to apply for me is through the website: www.rociosrescues.org

You can also email rociosrescues@yahoo.comwith questions. Petfinder inquiries sometimes go to spam, so applying through the website is the best way to make sure your application is seen.

I have a feeling my person is out there... and if youve made it this far, I think we might need to meet.
