Enzo's Story

.Enzo is a Dachshund/Pug mix who is 7 – 8 months old and currently weighs 15 pounds. We expect he’ll top out at 18 to 20 when he’s fully grown. Enzo is a fun and sweet puppy with some significant advantages over younger puppies: He’s housetrained, and he’s totally non-destructive. He won’t chew up your stuff.

Enzo lives in a house with 5 other dogs and 7 cats, and he gets along with everybody. He was found wandering with his best friend Artemis—look at the last pic to see Enzo and Artemis together. (We’ll adopt them out separately, but if you happen to be looking for two dogs, this is a very good pair of well-behaved pups.) Enzo loves to play zoomies around the backyard, chasing the other dogs and vice versa. He also loves to play with squeaky toys and handles them very gingerly rather than trying to rip them apart to get the stuffing out (like most puppies).

Enzo is a very affectionate pup and loves to cuddle and lay beside foster dogmom and dogdad. He also likes children. He likes everyone he meets—but not always right away. Sometimes he takes a few minutes to warm up to people, but once he does, you’re his best friend. Enzo is not a barky dog and so would do equally well in a house or an apartment. He would love a buddy to play with.

Enzo’s adoption fee is $250 and includes neuter, all shots & microchip. He is heartworm-negative and is on heartworm prevention.

Note:
We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.
