At about 2 years old and just 15 pounds, she’s a tiny companion who’s happiest being close to her people.<br/><br/>She came into rescue alongside Burrito after living in a less-than-ideal environment. When she arrived, she was dealing with a severe flea infestation that caused significant hair loss. With proper care and treatment, her coat is growing back beautifully—and so is her confidence.<br/><br/>Enchilada can be timid at first and may bark when she’s unsure, but she is not a bite risk—just a sensitive girl trying to feel safe in new situations. With a little patience and kindness, she blossoms into an incredibly affectionate, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap and stay by your side.<br/><br/>She would thrive in a quieter, easygoing home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. A household that is home often would be especially beneficial for her, as she bonds closely with her people.<br/><br/>Enchilada is crate trained, sleeps well overnight, and is doing nicely with her potty routine outside.
