Twelve of them. And she raised every single one like a queen. Patient, loving, and completely devoted, the best mom from day one.<br/><br/>Her babies have all gone home.<br/>Now it’s her turn.<br/><br/>Despite everything she’s been through, Esme still has the heart and antics of a puppy. She loves plush toys, soft beds, and being close to her people. She’s incredibly smart, clearly had a home before, and is potty trained and naturally protective; but not aggressive.<br/><br/>She’s also a favorite around here at shelter, so much so that she spends her nights crashing in the office with our cats like she owns the place.<br/><br/>She’s estimated to be between 3–5 years young, and she’s the kind of dog who will meet you with quiet loyalty, gentle humor, and a presence that just feels… special.<br/><br/>And if you’re eating something?<br/>She’ll politely let you know she’s interested.<br/><br/>Esme has done her job.<br/>She raised her babies. She survived being abandoned.<br/><br/>Now she just needs someone to choose her.
