Hi there! My name is Emmylou, and my foster mom says I’m the most perfect girl—but I’ll let you be the judge of that! I’m 38 pounds of pure love, and my biggest dream is to find a family who will love me as much as I love them. (Spoiler alert: that’s a lot!)<br/><br/>I’m not one of those "go, go, go" kind of pups. I’m more of a "let’s take a nice walk, play for a little while, and then relax in the sunshine" kind of gal. I love my walks, and I have the best time wrestling and playing with my foster sister—even though she’s twice my size! I also have some neighborhood dog friends that I chat and play with through the fence.<br/><br/>Speaking of fences...one of my favorite hobbies is soaking up the sun in the backyard. I could lounge out there for hours! Don’t worry, though—I’m still on squirrel and rabbit patrol. Someone has to keep those silly critters in line!<br/><br/>My foster mom says I’m a total Velcro dog because wherever you go, I’m right behind you. Cooking dinner? I’ll happily supervise from the middle of the kitchen. Folding laundry? Count me in. Watching TV? I’ll be your biggest fan. I just love being with my people.<br/><br/>My dream forever home would have a fenced yard where I can sunbathe and patrol for squirrels, plus a canine sibling to hang out with would make my tail wag even faster. I’d also love an active family who enjoys including me in their adventures.
