Meet Emmy! Emmy was rescued from Texas as a 4-month-old puppy and was later adopted into a loving home. Her family loved her dearly, but ultimately realized she needed more support than they were able to provide. Emmy is an extremely sweet girl who loves people and enjoys spending time with her humans. She would do best in an active home that can provide her with plenty of love, attention, and enrichment, while also offering a calm and stable environment where she can feel comfortable. Emmy would do best with older children and no young kids. Emmy is a wonderful girl who is looking for a family that understands her needs and will continue to help her thrive. Tattered Paws and Golden Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy
Once we receive a completed application we schedule a Q&A call with the applicant to answer any questions they might have about adopting from us. Then an adoption coordinator is assigned to the applicant and they work with them to decide what dog would be the best fit for their home and lifestyle. Prior to being approved for adoption we complete a vet check and home visit and then finally schedule a meet & greet so they can meet the dog.
