Emily 's Story
Emily came to us from AHS where she was at risk for being scared and unsocialized though she was not demonstrating any snappy behaviors, she was just very avoidant and fearful. She has made alot of progress but will still need a very patient home that understands that she will continue to need work. She is not yet leash trained but the foster is working with her and she is making small strides. She still does not like being handled much but will give her foster mom "nose kisses" and is excited to follow her around.

Emily would be happiest in a home with at least one other dog her size or slightly smaller. She is not a fan of big dogs at all. She is working on being brave and learning and experiencing new things but may revert in a new (forever) home. She is getting the hang of the potty routine in her foster home with regular opportunities to get out. She does well in a crate. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and is 2-3 years old and 20 lbs.
