Ember's Story

Meet your new favorite copilot.

If you’ve been looking for a smart, affectionate adventure buddy who is always ready to call shotgun, this sweet Husky may be your perfect match. Car rides are a favorite — just open the door and you’ve got yourself a happy little passenger ready for wherever the day takes you.

This pup is very smart, eager to please, and loves being with their people. That devotion does come with a little extra attachment: being left alone can be difficult right now, and separation anxiety is something a future family will need to patiently work through. A home where someone is around often, or where alone-time training can happen gradually, would be ideal.

And occasionally, the enthusiasm is just too much for the bladder to contain. When really excited — or sometimes anxious — there may be a little happy/nervous pee. It’s not intentional, and a calm routine, confidence-building, and patience should help.

In return, you’ll get a clever, people-oriented companion who wants nothing more than to be included, make you happy, and accompany you on your next drive.

Ideal home: patient, loving, ready to continue training, and preferably stocked with road-trip snacks.

Special skills:
Excellent passenger
Very smart
Eager to please
Looks ridiculously good in sunglasses
Professional sidekick

Basically: some assembly required, but the parts are exceptionally cute.

Ember is currently fostering in Lubbock, TX.
