Before Ember joined rescue, she apparently spent some time attending the School of Hard Knocks and majoring in Street Hooliganery. <br/><br/>When she arrived, she had plenty of charm, plenty of energy, and... lets just say manners werent exactly at the top of her resume.<br/>Because we wanted to set Ember up for success in her future forever home, she headed off to puppy boot camp to learn the finer points of civilized society. <br/><br/>Things like listening, making good choices, and resisting the urge to treat every situation like an extreme sport.<br/>And guess what?<br/>Shes doing GREAT! <br/><br/>Her trainers are pleased with her progress, were thrilled with how far shes come, and Ember is proving that underneath that mischievous streak is a smart, eager-to-learn girl who just needed a little guidance.<br/><br/>The best part? Shes still the same fun, goofy, spirited dog we love. Shes just learning how to channel all that personality into being the best companion she can be.<br/><br/>Ember has worked hard, and shes getting closer every day to being ready for her forever family. We cant wait for the lucky people who get to watch this former street hooligan continue to blossom.
