Elvis's Story

Elvis a work in progress. Scared of his shadow. Needs secure fenced yard and patience. Need an adult fenced yard foster for him asap.

Elvis is in the house! Well this is a first, someone surrendering a pup at midnight! This poor baby came from a horrible backyard breeder the day before in Charleston. He is about a year and never socialized except with dogs. The red chewed barn door is where he lived. Since he had no shots and no paperwork, I contacted the county of where I believe this breeder operates out of. The poor innocent family that purchased him were lied to and had small children to worry about and this boy is so unsocialized.

Elvis to the vet and got all his shots heartworm test and microchipped. Next will be his neuter appt next month. My vet says hes a little over a year and just needs to gain a little weight. Very long legs. He is considered a miniature poodle though.

So far Elvis has allowed all handling and can be quite sweet albeit very scared and a little shut down. He has not attempted to bite. We are looking for a secure escape proof fenced yard no exceptions. He will not walk on leash yet. He is fine with dogs.

I think the eyes in this picture tell it all sadly. He just wants to know can I trust you?

Adoption Fee:450
Please apply at www.peanutsplacerescue.org click application scroll down till it appears. Text 7046509653 if already approved.
