Elton John's Story
It’s finally time!!!

We would like to officially introduce our Sir Elton John (affectionately known as EJ or just Elton). We absolutely ADORE this perfect guy.

Sir Elton John is a 2yr old, lab mix (if we had to guess maybe some spaniel ), who weighs about 54lbs. Elton walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car and loves EVERYONE! (Which includes, but is not limited to, people, other doggo friends and cats.) Elton is a gentle guy with medium to low energy, who would love nothing more than a nice walk around the neighborhood and then a snuggle on the couch. We are hoping whatever family chooses Elton will make him their star, because he truly deserves to be!

Elton has endured much more in his two years than any dog should have to go through. He arrived at an overcrowded shelter in Houston at just a just a few months old, where he was adopted and later found as a stray, malnourished, heartworm positive and with little to no hair on most of his body. Again, his fate was the same shelter. He sadly sat at the shelter for many months with no adoption intrests. The shelter even spotlighted Elton on “Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet Week” saying “Most potential adopters will pass on him due to his current condition...” Sadly that was infact the truth. Elton was passed by. We met Elton for the first time in September down in Houston at his shelter and we immediately fell in love with him. Now here in Maine, he has been vetted, treated for heartworm and even has grown most of his hair back! Now that Elton is healthy, we would love to find this special guy an amazing home where he can finish up his healing from the heartworm treatment. He will temporarily need a calm, low-stress home while he heals. Think cozy blankets, quiet vibes, and minimal chaos.

If you would like to give this very special guy the home he deserves, please fill out an application!

https://linktr.ee/Thewyattproject
