Elsey's Story

Meet Elsey!

Elsey is an adorable 10–12 week old mixed-breed puppy weighing around 12 pounds. We can’t say for sure what breeds make up this sweet girl, but we expect her to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely somewhere around 40–50 pounds.

Elsey has the BEST little personality. She’s the perfect mix of playful, sweet, cuddly, and independent. She loves climbing into your lap for some attention, but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself with her toys or finding a sunny spot to stretch out and relax.

For such a young puppy, Elsey is already doing amazingly well with her crate. She sleeps through the entire night with no accidents and, even better, she appreciates sleeping in! She may not volunteer to hop into her crate, but once she’s settled, she is quiet and content.

Elsey loves squeaky toys, car rides, playing, sunbathing, and hanging out wherever her people are. She has been wonderful with children and other dogs. She has not been tested with cats yet. While she enjoys other dogs, she’s confident and independent enough that we think she would be equally happy as an only dog.

She isn’t overly vocal, destructive, or fearful. She’s a confident, easygoing little puppy who seems to take new experiences in stride. Of course, she’s still a baby and will need a family ready to continue her training as she grows, but she is already off to an incredible start.

If you’re looking for a sweet puppy who can play, cuddle, entertain herself, ride along for an adventure, and then sleep through the night, Elsey might just be your girl.

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
