Elsa and Maria's Story

Elsa and Maria are two of 16 poodles that were dumped in a park in Palmdale in horrific condition (check out that before pic!). They all had to be completely shaved down but their beautiful coats will grow back in no time. Elsa is 10 months and weighs 16 pounds and Maria is 6 months and weighs 11 pounds. They love other dogs (no surprise) and are very bonded. The two of them play beautifully together. It has been so rewarding to watch Elsa and Maria blossom in their self-confidence and trust with people. They are curious and want to investigate everything since everything is new to them. Both have bonded with her foster parents and are extremely affectionate. Elsa and Maria are becoming less shy with strangers and will no doubt continue to gain confidence and trust. A yard is a must as they feel more comfortable being able to go out there to potty as opposed to being walked on a leash. While our goal is to place them together (two are easier than one!), we will consider placing them separately ONLY if there is another resident dog. They will thrive best in a home with older kids or none. If you’re interested in these sweet, gentle girls, please fill out the application on our website bichonsandbuddies.com. They are spayed, have all shots and are microchipped.
