ELSA's Story

Puppy Elsa is improving sooo much in foster care! She was scared at the shelter and would hide under her cot whenever anyone walked by. When volunteers went to pick her up, she would freeze in fear ?? Look at her now! Turns out she is in love with other dogs and thrives with other pups around! She immediately bonded to the two older dogs in her foster home and would greatly benefit from having another dog in her forever home. She is still weary of people and will need time to acclimate to her new environment once adopted. A patient adopter that can give her time to bond with the people in the home would be ideal! Elsa is extremely cuddly and just wants to be where the action is! Even though she is nervous around people, she follows her foster mom around everywhere, like a little shadow! She is working on her crate training and potty training, but will need to continue this training once adopted. She is super playful with other dogs, loves toys (especially chewing on sticks and tree branches), and has loads of fun just bouncing around the backyard! She is14 weeks old and weighs about 17 pounds right now. If you want to meet Elsa, call the shelter at (805) 781-4400 to get in touch with her foster and set up an appointment to meet her!
