But would be best with older kids as she is so shy.<br/>Needs fenced in yard: no but does very well with one.<br/>Need another dog in the house: no<br/><br/>Location: Columbus OH<br/><br/>Energy level: low initially and once comfortable in new home, low to medium .<br/><br/>Elphie is a very shy dog and initially appears very withdrawn. However, when given time to adjust to her new home and allowed to get comfortable with her new people, begins to show her fun and sassy side. She is blind and deaf but like most dogs with these impairments, can get along and adjust quickly.<br/><br/>She loves her cage and uses it like her safe place. Even though it is hers, she does allow a couple of her foster siblings to come in and nap with her.<br/><br/>She has recently started chewing on antlers and crinkle animals. She enjoys exploring the yard in the fenced area and gets along well with her foster siblings. She is great about letting me know vocally when she needs to go out and loves peanut butter and treats.
