Elphaba's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! I’m Elphaba — but my friends call me Elphie for short!

Yes, I’m named after the green witch from the Broadway musical Wicked... and while I may not be green, I am pretty magical in my own way!

I’m a 4-year-old Boston Terrier who came to rescue in mid-January, and I’ve been working so hard to learn all the good-girl things. I’m doing really well going potty outside, I sleep quietly in my crate at night, and I’m learning how to walk nicely on a leash. I really love to please my people, so I always try my very best.

Living in a home with a family has been the most wonderful adventure. I love cuddling up on the couch, especially if there’s a warm lap involved. Naps are even better when they’re shared! I also discovered something amazing — TOYS! I never had toys before, and wow... they are the best thing ever. I could play and play!

There’s a little girl in my foster home who is 4 years old, just like me, and I absolutely adore her. When she pets or hugs me, it makes my whole body happy — and of course I return the favor with lots of kisses. Honestly, I’m a big fan of hugs and kisses for anyone who wants them!

There are both boy and girl dogs in my foster home, and I do great with them, too. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’d be happy to meet one someday to see what I think.

Oh! And I have to tell you about my signature move — my “happy dance”! When I get excited, I tippy-tap on all four feet and wiggle my whole body with joy. My foster mom says it’s absolutely adorable. I just can’t help myself — when I’m happy, I dance!

If you’re looking for a cuddly, loving, toy-obsessed little girl who will shower you with affection (and maybe perform a happy dance just for you), I might just be your perfect match.
If you are interested in meeting me to see if we are a perfect match, please put your application in today @ BuffaloCares.org

Adoption Fee: $600.00

RR48

All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered. If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org.

Registration No.: RR048
