Eloise is an active healthy senior at 10 years young. She is a compact 40lb terrier /chihuahua doll. She is spayed, house trained, walks well on leash and even does some tricks!
Eloise would like a home where her person can spend time with her. Ideally someone that works from home (permanently) or is retired. She does not like to be left alone for long hours.
Eloise has lots of energy for a senior dog. She will get you out for walks, make you laugh and keep you entertained with her comical personality. She doesn't need a yard if she gets her daily walks in. If you have fenced yard, she would love that too!
She prefers a calm household with no other dogs, cats or little kids. She enjoys human companionship rather than interacting with dogs or going to dog parks. It makes her anxious so best to just avoid those situations. She is more of a homebody. She will welcome ear scritches and belly rubs anytime.
Previous dog experience is best for Eloise.
She will take time to settle into your home. Saving Our Seniors provides a transition training session upon adoption to help you with tips on handling and care.
