Elle is a 2-year-old pit bull/rat terrier mix with a gentle, loving spirit and a heart full of affection. She came to the shelter at the beginning of May as a stray, and since then has been patiently waiting for a place—and people—to call her own. Elle is potty trained and crate trained. She is non destructive if left out alone and prefers to spend her quiet time curled up on the couch catching up on sleep. She is dog, cat and kid friendly (always recommend slow intros). She has a sweet and shy personality—when you go to pet her, she’ll often sit or lay down in the most endearing way. While she can be a little nervous in new environments, she warms up quickly with a little reassurance. Elle is a dream companion: she rides great in the car, walks beautifully on a leash, and is happiest simply being near her people and soaking up affection.
