This means you will foster the puppy in your home until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and receive their rabies vaccine. Once those requirements are completed, we will finalize the adoption paperwork. The Georgia Department of Agriculture requires all adopted pets to be spayed/neutered and appropriately vaccinated before their adoption can be completed. We'll review the Foster-to-Adopt process and answer any questions during your adoption conversation.
