Ellie is quite lean and muscular at 15 lbs., and is fit and active! She has come such a long way since coming into her foster home -- she was not used to living with other dogs and she now joyfully zooms around the backyard with her foster siblings, even keeping pace with the youngest 1-year-old pup!<br/><br/>Ellie is a good watchdog, but sometimes has to be reminded to stop barking. She is house-trained when kept on a schedule. Since life has been hard for Ellie, she craves attention and is looking for a home with someone who is retired or works from home, and perhaps a canine companion too! She can be an escape artist and will need a very secure fenced yard. Ellie is very sweet and loving and really deserves a comfy home and steady companionship.
