Meet Ellie! <br/><br/><br/>Ellie is a beautiful 5-year-old, 55-pound blue merle girl with tan points, striking blue eyes, and a full tail. She is spayed, current on rabies, and has an upcoming veterinary appointment to receive her other scheduled vaccinations.<br/><br/>Ellie is an affectionate, playful, and energetic girl who loves being with her people and having something fun to do. <br/><br/>Ellie loves outdoor adventures and enjoys chasing balls, catching Frisbees, and working through agility obstacles. She is food- and toy-motivated, enjoys learning, and knows basic cues including sit, stay, place, down, shake, and spin. She also enjoys playing with other energetic dogs and is happiest when she has plenty of opportunities to stay active.<br/><br/>Ellie is a medium to medium-high energy dog, and her current family has found that a recent change in their routine has made it difficult to give her the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. As a result, she has been having a harder time settling in the house and has more energy than they are able to manage. Her new family should enjoy an active lifestyle and be prepared to give Ellie consistent exercise, enrichment, and structure.<br/><br/>On walks, Ellie may pull when she first gets excited, but she settles into the walk once that initial enthusiasm wears off. With consistent exercise and an outlet for her energy, Ellie will be able to better settle into a routine.<br/><br/>When her needs are met, Ellie is a loving companion who enjoys relaxing with her people. She loves attention, pets, cuddling, and giving kisses. She is crate trained and enjoys car rides once she settles in.<br/><br/>Ellie is a fun-loving, affectionate girl with plenty of personality and lots of love to give.
