Ellie is an approximately 1-year-old Pit Bull mix weighing around 48 pounds.<br/><br/>She was seen running loose and scared for some time before she was safely brought to the shelter. When she arrived, she was in rough shape—covered in scratches, sore, and carrying more than her share of ticks. With care and time, she’s already come a long way.<br/><br/>Ellie can be unsure at first and definitely has a bit of “stranger danger” while she’s getting to know you. But once she feels safe, her personality shines. She is playful, expressive, and full of life—complete with happy zooms, silly little noises, and a tail that tells you exactly how she’s feeling.<br/><br/>She absolutely lights up around other dogs and gains confidence from them, so a home with another dog will be especially helpful for her. Ellie keeps her kennel clean and does well keeping her business outside.
