Meet Elle, a beautiful 4-year-old presumed Lab/Shepherd mix whose favorite place in the world is wherever her people are.<br/><br/>Elle is an incredibly affectionate girl who absolutely adores human companionship. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be your best friend, cuddle buddy, and constant companion, Elle may be your girl. She loves being close to her humans, soaking up attention, and curling up beside you for all the cuddles she can get. While she enjoys other dogs, people are truly where Elle's heart is happiest.<br/><br/>Like so many deserving dogs, Elle found herself in an overcrowded shelter through no fault of her own. With kennels full and space desperately needed, she was simply waiting for someone to give her the chance she deserved. Thankfully, a foster stepped up, allowing Stop the Suffering to bring Elle into the rescue and give her a soft place to land.<br/><br/>Elle is dog friendly and regularly participated in play group at the shelter. Since moving into a foster home, we've learned that while she enjoys canine company, she prefers not to share her toys with her four-legged friends. Fortunately, this has been very manageable with a little structure. Her foster simply puts away high-value toys when the dogs are together and gives everyone their own space to enjoy special items.<br/><br/>But Elle's real love language is people. She doesn't need to be the life of the party. In fact, she'd much rather be curled up next to her favorite human, getting pets and enjoying the comfort of simply being together. After everything she's been through, she seems genuinely grateful for the security and affection that come with being part of a home.<br/><br/>Elle is looking for a family who wants a dog to truly be part of their lives.
