When her savior found her, she was covered in fleas, burrs, and her nails were very long. She was very patient while they worked on getting the burrs and fleas off of her for three to four hours. She did not have a microchip and her owner was not found. The family that found her absolutely LOVED her, but she was not a good fit for their family. She is young and VERY playful. She wants to play with anyone that will play with her, whether it is a cat or a dog. She is also extremely loving with people. She wants to give you lots and lots of kisses. She has done excellent on her house training and goes outside, but has been known to use a pee pad in the house. She has not met a stranger, whether person or animal. She is extremely curious about everything, she will have to smell and check out anything new. She likes to lay on the couch with her family, sleeps great in bed, is pretty good on a leash but sometimes will pull, and she is very attentive and will turn her head when listening to you. If she is told no or corrected for something, she will pout and act upset like you hurt her feelings, so she knows what you are saying. You could not find a better pup than Ella. She would do best in a home with another pup she could play with and a fenced yard so she does not end up out on her own again.
