Ella

Ella is a very sweet girl who was rescued as a puppy at the beginning of Covid and was not socialized properly. With some patience and slow introductions to things that cause her to be fearful she will be a great furry family member. The trainer thinks that this behavior is caused by her not developing independence early. She needs exposure and the chance to learn trust. She has responded very well to the training and has so much potential.<br/><br/>She is house trained and crate trained. She is very smart and motivated by food. She knows the commands: sit, come, down, stay, place (bed), heel and shake. She is so sweet with us, but is very nervous around other people or animals. With constant training and practice, she will be a great dog! She has a lot of energy and loves to play and run. <br/><br/>Her triggers are people or animals she is not familiar with, whether it's at her fosters house or out in public. When someone unfamiliar gets close, she becomes fearful and will growl. She rarely barks.
