UPDATE ON ELLA - June 13, 2009<br/><br/>Well, Ella is such a lucky girl. She got a chance to meet one of the surgeons at Canada West where she would be having her surgery. This surgeon fell in love with her as did the entire family. And now she will have her surgery, even though the funds needed were never raised.<br/><br/>We are chipping in what did come in for Ella, and the rest is history. Ella has found her new home, and will have her surgery as well.<br/><br/>We would like to thank all the generous folks that donated to Ella's cause, and to her foster homes, Thank You!<br/><br/>________________________________________________________<br/><br/>Beautiful Little Ella. If she were your dog, your new puppy, that you have grown so attached to, would you opt to help her, or euthanize her? She is a 12 week old Bichon Poodle, and has been diagnosed with a pretty severe case of PDA - Patent Ductus Arteriosis. She will not live past a year without the surgery that has been recommended by the specialists at Canada West Veterinary Specialists. The surgery is very expensive, but as always, we feel that Ella is worth raising the funds to help her live out her full life. Our goal is to raise $3000 for Ella too.<br/><br/>Luckily for Ella, she has a foster home that is willing to care for her during her waiting period, and after her surgery.
