SATURDAY, JULY 22 from 12-3PM: Dog & Cat Adoption Event at MERRIAM PetSmart at 5810 Antioch Rd
WEEKEND SHELTER HOURS, JULY 22-23:
SATURDAY, JULY 22: CLOSED (but many of our pets will be at PetSmart for you to meet!)
SUNDAY, JULY 23: 10AM-3PM; NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY!
ELEVEN is a beautiful Lab mix! She is 3 years old and weighs 42 lbs. Eleven is very sweet natured and friendly. She's playful and silly and affectionate. She loves kids. She loves to cuddle, and could quickly become a Velcro girl. She is athletic and loves to go for walks. She would also be a great running partner. Eleven will need a taller fence or leash walks in her forever home. She loves to ride in the car.
Eleven loves toys and balls and likes to carry them on her walks. She is crate trained and potty trained. She will need a feline free home, and would like to meet any potential dog friends to make sure everyone likes her play style. The poor girl has a huge scar on her shoulder from an old wound. She's healthy now and she's ready for a new home!
Eleven has been with us for over a year now. She's such a fun and loving girl-- she deserves so much more. She needs a real home and loving family.
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
