Hi there, my name is Eleni. I am a 4-year-old, 60lbs., spayed Pit Bull mix. who just so happens to be as sweet as pie. I would love nothing more than to form deep bonds with my new people so I can be spoiled with all the love and give plenty of love in return. My favorite activities include enjoying quiet moments with my people, leisurely walks, and receiving soft pets. Most off all I would just want to be by your side so my affectionate lovebug side can truly shine through! Here's how I did:<br/>I took Eleni for an offsite today, and we had a great time. She started off eager to go out, but didn’t want to get into the car, even using cheese. I ultimately needed to lift her in, but she was very calm for me while I did it. Once we got to my house, she had a great time sniffing every inch of the yard, rolling all over the lawn and driveway, and taking her time exploring the neighborhood on a couple of leisurely walks. She also enjoyed cozying up on the couch on a pile of fleece blankets. Overall, she was super sweet and got along really well with everyone in the family, including my husband and two daughters (ages 9 and 11), offering sniffs and kisses within about 5 minutes of meeting them. She was very well behaved on the walks and was totally unbothered by other people or dogs we encountered. She’s such a good girl!Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.<br/>You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!<br/>To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
