Eleanor is estimated to be 1 year old and she is 35 lbs.

Playful, loves to snuggle, and oh so happy and sweet! Photos do not do his beautiful girl justice. Eleanor absolutely loves her people and enjoys spending time with them. She lives in a foster home that includes foster mom and dog sibling who she loves to run around and play with. She absolutely loves her night routine. Her foster mom is convinced Eleanor's sweet little mind is blown that she has a big comfy bed, pillow and all the pets and cuddles she could possible want!

Eleanor is working hard on her house training skills and learning fast - she is almost there! Her adopter will need to be committed to working with Eleanor and taking her out on a consistent schedule. She is crate trained and stays in the crate when her foster mom is out of the home, as well as to eat her meals.

Eleanor is leashed trained and enjoys her daily walks. Loves her chew bones, playing with her foster fur sibling and kisses from her foster mom.

Eleanor is treat motivated, which helps greatly with training. She takes treats gently from the hand. She is not food aggressive and does not resource guard - she will allow you to take toys and food away from her.

Eleanor knows the commands Sit, Potty Outside, Gentle and Come. And she is ready to learn so much more - she has the potential for perfection with a little guidance and structure.

This dog is just the sweetest little girl! She will prove to be a loving and faithful companion to a very lucky family.

Why is Eleanor a Foster-To-Adopt? To keep her out of a boarding situation, we need a committed foster family for this sweet girl while she looks for her forever home. As a Foster-To-Adopt parent, you would be responsible for giving Eleanor a loving and safe environment. All medical needs are handled by our rescue group until adoption is finalized so the benefit of a situation like this is taking the time needed to make sure Eleanor is the right fit without feeling pressured by a timeline.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
