El Toro's Story

Meet El Toro! El Toro is a 10-month-old, 122lbs male Saint Bernard. El Toro is a loving and handsome boy who is full of hops, wiggle, and drool. LOTS of drool! El Toro is not experiencing any lameness issues at this time, but he does have angular limb deformity in his "ankles". There is also concern for possible hip dysplasia given he has intermittent bunny hoping. Regular walks and exercise will help build strong muscles and keeping him at a healthy weight will be important. Given his breed and size, El Toro may also be more predisposed to arthritis and could worsen with time. Starting him on a joint supplement would be ideal for extra support. We are hopeful that his potential medical needs won't hinder this giant puppy from finding his forever!

The adoption fee is $200. This includes the neuter, microchip, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation, deworming and all core vaccines through puppyhood.

If you are interested in adopting El Toro, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "El Toro" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
