Yes, like that El — the brave one at 2 years young. When I first got here, I was a little unsure of everything. New place, new people, new life... it was a lot. But unlike some of my crew, I decided pretty quickly that I was going to figure this whole thing out. And I did. I’m still learning, still growing, but I’m not afraid to try. I might pause, look around, assess the situation... and then I go for it.<br/>Food Journey: It Took Me a Minute<br/>Let’s be honest... eating was not my thing at first. It took me about two weeks to really settle in and understand that food was safe and consistent. Now I’ve got preferences. Raw has been working best for me, and my foster mom will make sure my future family knows exactly what keeps me thriving. I am a little picky, but when you find my thing, I’m all in. Also... cheese? Immediate yes.<br/>My Social Life: I Learned from My Pack<br/>Other dogs are everything to me. They’ve helped me learn what it means to just be a dog. I love running around the yard, chasing my foster siblings, barking with them, and soaking up the sunshine. My best friend is Pablo... although I do like to steal his toys.<br/>My Personality: Soft, Sweet & Full of Wiggles<br/>I don’t have a single mean bone in my body. I’m gentle, loving, and happy to be here. When I get excited, my whole body wiggles in a way that will make you laugh. I love attention, I will paw at you for more, and I will roll over for belly rubs immediately.<br/>My Comfort Zone: Blankets & My Babies<br/>I love to burrow in soft blankets and bring all my favorite toys into my crate. My crate is my safe space where I can relax and feel secure.<br/>Play Style: Fun First, Questions Later<br/>I love bones, soft toys, and pupsicles. I’m playful and curious, and while I’m learning commands, I do have a little bit of that classic Frenchie selective hearing.<br/>Big World Training: We’re Figuring It Out Together<br/>I’m still working on leash training, but I’m getting better every day. The big world felt scary at first, but now I’m learning that walks can be fun. With patience and encouragement, I continue to grow more confident.<br/>Medical Tasks<br/>Well, I am medically sound I did have an upper respiratory infection with I came in but I am good to go now. I was also heart worm tested and everything seemed to be good to go. My doc said I am healthy and its very strange for Mo to bring a dog like me to the vet. I snickered while he said that. Like any Frenchie allergies are thing and IVDD so please be proactive when it comes to my health. <br/>My Sensitive Side: I’m Still Learning the World<br/>I can still get nervous in new situations and might bury myself into your lap when I feel unsure. I just need patience, reassurance, and someone who understands I’m still learning.<br/>What I Need: Structure, Love & A Pack<br/>I need a home with other dogs because that’s how I’ve built my confidence. I also need structure and consistency so I can continue to thrive.<br/>Final Thoughts from Me, El <br/>I’m brave, loving, and learning every day. I just need someone patient who will let me keep figuring life out.
