Eira

BURNSTOWN, ON - SPIN was contacted about two young Standard Poodle puppies who needed somewhere to go. Their breeder had been unable to find homes for them and felt they were becoming too much to manage as they grew older. As often happens in rescue, a call like that can be hard to ignore — and thanks to the generosity of our incredible volunteers, we were able to step in and help.

Eira and her sister quickly settled into foster care, where they began learning what life in a home is all about. Like many puppies who have had a quieter start to life, Eira is still discovering the world and building confidence in new situations. With the support of her foster family, she is already making progress and showing us the sweet, loving, and occasionally saucy little personality that is emerging as she becomes more comfortable.
