Eileen's Story

At 2 years old, Ellie is the whole package! She graduated at the top of her class from our STAR Inmate Training Program and quickly became an all-time favorite with the staff.<br/><br/>She's house trained, crate trained, cat friendly, and a certified cuddle expert. Ellie loves her stuffed toys, has excellent basic obedience, and does great with older kids. She's selective with other dogs at first but does really well with slow, proper introductions.<br/><br/>Ellie was rescued from the euthanasia list with a broken leg, but it never dimmed her love for people. Her gentle, affectionate personality makes us think she'd make an amazing therapy dog.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a smart, loyal best friend with a heart full of love, Ellie is your girl.

To adopt your new best friend you would need to fill out an application. We require reference checks, home visits and a friendship test to make sure your new friend will get along with the entire family - 2 & 4 legged! All dogs are spayed/neutered & fully vaccinated upon adoption, which is included in the adoption fee.
