Found on the abandoned. she has come such a long way since being rescued. She is a sweet, playful girl who just wants to be close to you. It’s like having a mini horse in the house. Effie is a smart girl who is working hard on learning sign language since she is deaf. Because of her past trauma from abuse and abandonment, does flinch and get scared at times and needs a patient understanding owner who will continue her training. She is doing great with her potty training, with only the occasional accident but she’s is getting better at showing she needs to go to the bathroom. Because she loves to run and play, she requires a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where she can safely burn off her energy. She doesn’t bark much and does great on a leash but is a little skittish around people walking and some other things which the deafness. <br/><br/>Canine Friends: She does wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves to play!<br/><br/>Small Animal Warning: Due to a high prey drive, she should be the only pet in a home without cats or small animals. <br/><br/>She is spayed, microchipped and is nearly finished with all of her necessary shots and boosters. She is healthy, happy, and ready to find a family that will help her feel safe and loved for the rest of her life.<br/><br/>She is a wonderful dog!
