Eeyore is a 5-month-old blue merle miniature Australian Shepherd, weighing 10 pounds and still growing into his mini Aussie size. He has beautiful pale icy blue eyes, white-socked paws, and one of the most loving, loyal dispositions you’ll ever meet. He is fully crate trained and is happy to sleep in his crate overnight or snuggled up by your side. He even loves being held like a teddy bear! If you are looking for a steadfast companion, Eeyore is your guy.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is a true velcro pup. He will follow you from room to room, content to sit nearby or curl up in your lap. He loves toys and frolicking in the yard and is always ready for a bit of playtime or a cozy nap with his people. He has excellent recall, is very food motivated, and is eager to learn as his excitement settles and he focuses in.<br/><br/>Eeyore gets along well with dogs of all sizes and has been non-reactive to cats in his foster home. He is also an excellent little traveler. He rides calmly in his travel bag and has visited a variety of stores, sometimes carried in a backpack carrier on his foster mom’s back to see the world. When he rides in the cart with his carrier open, he happily soaks up attention, treats, and all the sights and sounds around him. He would be thrilled to accompany his new family on errands and adventures.<br/><br/>Eeyore does get a bit shy at first with new people, but once you show him gentle affection, his heart is yours. With his trusted person by his side, he is happy to meet new friends and check in for reassurance when he needs it. His adorable floppy ears, long legs, and full-body wiggle when he sees someone he loves make him hard to resist.<br/><br/>Eeyore is looking for a home that will appreciate his sensitive, devoted nature, give him lots of snuggles and lap time, and include him in daily life.
